Award Distribution ceremony

The students who achieved provincial, national and international Competitions and Olympiad have received their prizes in an attractive ceremony on 19th November 2009. Two students, Sana Mughal and Nida Anwar, who stood 1st and 2nd in the HSC examinations of Sukkur Board were awarded with shields. Tahir Hussain and Muhammed Faraz of class 10th received their certificates of Intel Science Education Project Competition who were awarded with 1st position in Sindh in the Biology Subject.

The "grand awards" of the day were gone to Hira Jamali of class 7th and Usama Awan of Class 10th. Hira has achieved 3rd position in international Dilset Competition in Turkey in last June. She was awarded with 50 thousand rupees cash prize and bronze medal. Usama has participated in three different international competitions in America and Turkey and he achieved a 50 thousand US dollar scholarship award, 1st position in 17th International Environmental Project Competition and 1st position in 6th International Science and education Olympics. He was also awarded with 53800 rupees cash prize, a gold medal and certificates as well.

All these awards were distributed by the DCO Khairpur Mr. Abbas Balouch among the distinct gatherings from officials, EDO's DO's academicians and parents. The DCO Khairpur has also promised the students to award them with 50 thousand rupees from the District Government. He was quoted from his speech that such a quality education in the district is a need and it is fulfilled with Pak Turk School successfully. He also wished that this model of education must be adopted by the other school. Program has also included highly appreciated stage performances of the students i.e. tableau, songs and folk dances.
